CELEBRITY HAIR · JESSICA SIMPSON HAIRSTYLES
This article has photos of Jessica Simpson hairstyles and shows you how to copy Jessica’s hairstyles, so you can look like ex-Newlyweds star, Jessica Simpson.
According to a U.S. magazine poll in 2005, most women rated Jessica Simpson’s hair as the most desirable celebrity hairstyle.
For her famous wedding in 2002, Jessica wore her hair “soft and elegant” as styled by celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves.
According to Jessica Simpson’s book about her romantic nuptials to Nick Lachey, called “I Do: Achieving Your Dream Wedding”, Nick liked Jessica’s hair “long and pretty”. So Ken Paves created a soft cascade of loose finger curls to please both bride and groom.
Jessica Simpson is the all-american version of Bridget Bardot, with that classic “sex kitten”, blonde bombshell look. Whether Jessica is wearing her hair sleek and straight, or full and curly, she exudes sexy style.

* Comb freshly washed hair with a wide-toothed comb to remove any tangles. Partially blow-dry your hair to get rid of excess moisture.
* Spray a volumising tonic on your hair, or a handful of mousse spread from tips to ends for extra oomph.
* Pin hair up and take out small sections at a time to blow-dry. Hold the dryer in one hand and a styling brush in the other.
* Place the brush underneath the first section of hair and position it at the roots. Keep the tension on the hair (without tugging too hard) and move the brush down towards the ends, while directing the air flow down the hair, following the movement of the brush.
* Blow-dry using a large, round brush with a metal core. Wind hair completely up the brush, focusing on creating lift at the roots. Gently blast hair with a hair-dryer until dry.
* Curl the brush under at the ends to achieve a slight bend. Continue until the back sections are completely dry and then repeat on the top sections of hair.
* Finish with a light, flexible hairspray.

2008 Hair Trends: Styles, Cuts and Colours. The Fringe
We saw plenty of the fringe at the start of 2007, and then somewhere in the first half of the year it simply lost its buzz. Then, as the year drew to a close, it became a certain hair trend for 2008 when hypermodel Kate Moss got a fringe. What’s best is that as a trend, you’re going to have plenty of options to make it your own.
How many trends really have that many different styles? Few. But with the fringe hair trend in 2008 there are three main ways you can wear it;
1. The Blunt Fringe – the style that is the safest choice. Cut thick by bringing in hair from near either temple, the thick, blunt cut fringe remains the most popular way to wear this hair trend.
2. The Kate – that’s what we’ve dubbed Kate Moss’ fringe as she’s wearing it in quite a unique way: fairly long. While having hair sitting in front of our eyes, almost below them, would annoy us mere mortals for Kate its a signature part of the look.
3. The Pixie – the fringe that takes the most confidence to pull off, ultra short and quite boyish the pixie fringe really sits as part of the 2008 cropped hair trend but is an element you can easily borrow.
But if the fringe hair trend died in 2007, won’t it die again in 2008? Normally you’d think so, but with Kate Moss on hand to keep it insanely popular in the first half of 2008, and the next James Bond film, Quantum of Solace, to keep it popular in the second half, getting yourself a fringe is a certain way of staying on trend.
